By downloading or using Elvera, you agree to these terms. They are written to be fair and readable.
What Elvera is
Elvera is a personal journaling application for iPhone. It helps you capture moments, track your moods, set intentions, reflect on your day, and optionally use AI to generate weekly letters and monthly evolution summaries.
Your content
Everything you write, record, or capture in Elvera is yours. We do not claim any rights to your journal entries, photos, or reflections. Because your data lives only on your device, we could not access it even if we wanted to.
Subscriptions
Elvera Plus is a paid subscription processed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's App Store settings.
Prices may change with advance notice. We will not retroactively charge you for services already rendered.
AI features
AI features (Weekly Letters, Evolution Cards) require you to provide your own Anthropic API key. You are responsible for your API usage costs with Anthropic. Elvera is not responsible for the content AI generates. AI outputs are creative summaries, not professional advice of any kind.
Acceptable use
Elvera is for personal use. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer or redistribute the app
- Use Elvera to store or share illegal content
- Attempt to circumvent subscription verification
Disclaimer
Elvera is a journaling tool, not a medical device, mental health service, or crisis resource. If you are in distress, please contact a qualified professional or crisis line.
We provide the app "as is." While we work hard to keep it reliable, we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free.
Data loss
Because your data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, deletion, or loss. We strongly recommend enabling iPhone backups via iTunes or Finder.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of Elvera after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes in the app.
